  • You are 18 or older
  • You have severe arthritis in only one knee that has not improved with other treatments
  • Your knee pain and function scores are between 25 and 75 on a special scale
  • You have not had any prior surgery on that knee
  • You do not have other serious bone or joint diseases, active infections, or a history of cancer
