Who can take part

  • You have had hepatitis B for at least 6 months and currently have a positive HBsAg test.
  • You have been on antiviral medication for hepatitis B for at least 6 months.
  • Your hepatitis B virus level in blood is very low (less than 100 IU/mL) on two separate tests in the last 6 months.
  • You are between 18 and 70 years old.
  • You do not have other serious liver disease, cirrhosis, or liver cancer.
  • You have not received an MVA-based vaccine before (like a smallpox vaccine).
