Who can take part

  • You are older than 18 years
  • You have chronic hepatitis B (not just past infection), and do not also have HIV, hepatitis C, or hepatitis D
  • You have been on hepatitis B antiviral medicine for at least 12 months, and your HBV viral load is under 100 IU/ml
  • You are not pregnant and not breastfeeding
  • You have no allergy to hepatitis B or yeast-based vaccines
  • You have recent blood tests showing liver values are not too high, and you do not have a fever or serious unstable illness right before shots
