Developmental care for very low birth weight babies

Who can take part

  • Your baby was born weighing less than 1500 grams (about 3.3 pounds)
  • Your baby was admitted to a level III NICU within 24 hours after birth
  • Your baby has a lung severity score (OI) greater than 30
  • Your baby does not have severe birth defects or serious genetic, metabolic, or brain conditions
