Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years old or older.
  • You must have a type of stomach cancer called gastric adenocarcinoma, confirmed by biopsy.
  • Your cancer team must recommend chemotherapy or radiation before surgery (neoadjuvant therapy), and after that treatment, surgery should still be possible.
  • Your heart, liver, kidneys, lungs, and blood counts must be healthy enough for chemotherapy and surgery.
  • You cannot have cancer that has spread to other organs, severe organ failure, or other conditions that would make the trial unsafe.
