  • You have melasma (dark patches on your face or skin).
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You haven't taken birth control pills or any drugs that make you sensitive to sunlight in the past month.
  • You do not have a history of blood clots, abnormal bleeding, allergy to tranexamic acid or hydroquinone, or any endocrine (hormone) disorder.
