  • You are female and between 18 and 50 years old.
  • You have dark patches on your face called melasma.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You do not have any bleeding or clotting disorders, and you do not take blood thinners.
  • You have not used the acne medication isotretinoin in the last 6 months.
  • You do not take birth control pills or hormone replacement therapy.
