Online program for PTSD with dissociation

This trial tests an online program that combines education about trauma with expressive writing (writing about your feelings) to help people who have PTSD along with dissociative symptoms—like feeling detached from yourself or the world around you. If you qualify, you'll participate from home using a device with internet.

Who can take part

  • You are a Hong Kong Chinese resident aged 18 to 65.
  • You can read, write, and speak Chinese or Cantonese.
  • You have symptoms of post-traumatic stress and experiences of dissociation (like feeling numb or disconnected).
  • You have a device with internet, like a smartphone or computer.
  • You are not currently in other therapy for PTSD or dissociation, and have no serious medical conditions, substance dependence, suicidal thoughts, psychosis, or major cognitive problems.
