Who can take part

  • You are generally healthy (no other major illnesses).
  • You are between 30 and 55 years old.
  • You have moderate to advanced gum disease (stages II or III, grade B or C).
  • You have at least one gum pocket that is 5mm or deeper after initial non-surgical treatment.
  • You are not a smoker and do not chew tobacco.
  • You have not taken antibiotics in the last six months.
