Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have at least 20 natural teeth (not counting wisdom teeth).
- You have been diagnosed with stage II, III, or IV periodontitis.
- You have at least 4 deep pockets (5mm or more) that bleed on probing in at least 2 areas on opposite sides of your mouth.
- You have not had gum surgery or taken antibiotics for gum disease in the last 6 months.
- You do not smoke more than 10 cigarettes a day.
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant.
- You do not have uncontrolled diabetes (HbA1c 7.0% or higher) or rheumatoid arthritis.
- You have no known allergies to hyaluronic acid or the gel ingredients.
