Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer (like adenocarcinoma or squamous cell carcinoma) that has not spread to distant organs.
  • Your tumor is 5 cm or smaller, and lymph nodes in the chest are not enlarged on CT scan.
  • Your heart and lung function are good enough for surgery, based on specific tests.
  • You have not had chemotherapy, radiation, targeted therapy, or immunotherapy before surgery.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you have no history of other cancers or serious heart problems in the last 6 months.
