  • You are between 18 and 50 years old.
  • You have a tooth infection (acute pulpitis) that causes pain, confirmed by a dentist.
  • The numbing injection for your tooth does not work well for you.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You do not have a nerve or mental health condition that affects how you feel pain.
  • You are not allergic to numbing medicine or the gel used for brain wave tests.
