- You are between 18 and 60 years old
- You are generally healthy (no major chronic diseases like diabetes or nerve disorders)
- You have a lower back tooth (first or second molar) with painful inflammation inside the tooth that needs root canal treatment
- Your tooth is still alive and responds to cold and electrical tests
- You have moderate to severe pain before treatment begins
- You have not taken pain relievers, anti-inflammatory drugs, or antibiotics in the last 48 hours
