Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 60 years old.
- You have a tooth with severe, non-stop pain and an infection at the root tip (symptomatic irreversible pulpitis and symptomatic apical periodontitis).
- The tooth on the opposite side of your mouth (same position) is healthy and pain-free.
- The infected tooth has healthy gums (no deep pockets, no bleeding when probed, and no looseness).
- You have not had any previous dental work on the infected tooth.
- You agree to sign a consent form.
