Who can take part

  • You are between 30 and 65 years old.
  • You sit for more than 6 hours a day and exercise less than 150 minutes of moderate activity or 75 minutes of vigorous activity per week.
  • You have at least 3 signs of metabolic syndrome, such as a large waist, high blood sugar, high blood pressure, high triglycerides, or low good cholesterol.
  • You are willing to start exercising regularly and have no health reasons that make exercise unsafe.
  • You are not currently taking any prescription medications for blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, or heart rhythm problems.
