Who can take part

  • You are between 35 and 65 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with nonalcoholic fatty liver (by ultrasound).
  • You have at least one health issue like being overweight, having prediabetes or type 2 diabetes, high triglycerides, low HDL cholesterol, or high blood pressure.
  • You do not have a heart or lung condition that makes exercise unsafe.
  • You are not taking certain medications (like Ozempic, Jardiance, or more than 2 different blood pressure/diabetes/cholesterol/heart rhythm drugs) or dietary supplements (like fish oil or diet pills).
  • You do not have other liver diseases, mental illness, or a recent leg injury that limits movement, and you are not pregnant or planning to get pregnant.
