Who can take part
- You have facial paralysis diagnosed as Bell's palsy, 'frigori' facial paralysis, or idiopathic facial paralysis (no known cause).
- You have NOT had any previous physical therapy (kinesic treatment) for this condition.
- Your facial paralysis started less than 6 months ago.
- You do NOT have facial paralysis caused by a stroke (central facial paralysis).
- You do NOT have any open wounds, cuts, or burns on your face that could interfere with electrical stimulation.
- Your doctor has NOT advised against using electrical stimulation for your condition.
