  • You are 45 years or older
  • You have a confirmed diagnosis of inclusion body myositis (IBM) based on specific muscle weakness and biopsy findings
  • You can walk for 6 minutes without help from another person (cane or walker is okay)
  • You are not taking any immune-modulating drugs (like JAK inhibitors) or certain medications that affect muscle growth
  • You do not have serious health issues like severe kidney or liver disease, low blood counts, recent heart problems, or certain cancers
