Who can take part
- Age 19 or older
- Have a symptomatic epiretinal membrane (ERM) grade 2 or 3 or a macular hole that doesn't need a flap
- Need elective surgery to peel the ILM
- No diabetic retinopathy (any stage)
- No wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD)
- No prior vitrectomy or retinal detachment surgery
