Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease by a neurologist
  • You have mild to moderate Parkinson's (stages 1-3 on the Hoehn and Yahr scale)
  • You have some trouble walking (score of 1 or higher on a specific walking test)
  • Your thinking and memory are fairly good (score above 15 on a cognitive test)
  • You have a stable heart condition and can do low to moderate aerobic exercise
  • You do not have other orthopedic or health problems that seriously affect your walking
