Who can take part

  • You are 40 years or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease by standard criteria.
  • Your Parkinson's medication has been stable for at least 4 weeks before the study starts and will not change during treatment.
  • You have some movement symptoms (score of 8 or higher on a common Parkinson's rating scale) and your disease stage is between 1 and 4.
  • You are able to complete thinking tests and tolerate the rTMS treatment.
  • You do not have any metal implants in your body (like a pacemaker or cochlear implant), and you have no recent history of brain surgery or epilepsy.
