- You are 18 years or older

- You are being seen at MD Anderson in Houston for the first time for this condition, or you’ve been seen there before and your disease has come back or worsened
- You have not had surgery or radiation for oral cancer at a different hospital
- You are able to give your permission (informed consent) to take part
