Who can take part

  • You are a post-menopausal woman (no period for 12 months or had ovaries removed).
  • You have hormone receptor positive breast cancer, DCIS, or a high-risk breast condition.
  • You are planning to start, or have started within the last 6 months, an aromatase inhibitor.
  • You do not have diabetes and have not taken medications that affect blood sugar recently.
  • Your fasting blood sugar is under 126 mg/dL and your HbA1c is under 6.5%.
  • You have not had stomach or weight-loss surgery that changes how food moves through your gut.
