Who can take part

  • You are a woman who has gone through menopause naturally (no surgery to remove ovaries) at least 1 year ago.
  • You have had stage I, II, or III breast cancer that is hormone receptor positive and HER2 negative.
  • You have been on an aromatase inhibitor for at least 2 years (if about 5–10 years since diagnosis) or are starting it soon (about 1 year after diagnosis).
  • You have not taken tamoxifen before menopause.
  • You do not have major heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease, or any condition that would make exercise testing unsafe.
  • You can walk without a walker or wheelchair, are not extremely claustrophobic, and can understand English.
