- You must be generally healthy, between 18 and 45 years old.
- Your body mass index (BMI) must be between 19 and 26, and you must weigh at least 110 pounds (50 kg for men, 99 pounds (45 kg) for women).
- You should not have any chronic illnesses or active medical problems, especially with your stomach, heart, immune system, or lungs.
- You must not have taken any other experimental drugs or been in another clinical trial in the last 3 months.
- You must be willing to avoid smoking, alcohol, caffeine, and certain foods (like grapefruit) during the study.
- Women must not be pregnant or breastfeeding, and both men and women must use effective contraception during and for 3 months after the study.
