Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You have a brain tumor (cancerous or non-cancerous) that needs surgery.
  • You are awake and alert before surgery (Glasgow Coma Scale 15).
  • You do not have certain eye problems like optic nerve tumors, cysts, or open injuries around the eyelid.
  • You do not have other serious conditions like lupus, multiple sclerosis, or overactive thyroid.
