Who can take part

  • You are older than 18 years.
  • You have had a head injury that lowered your level of consciousness (Glasgow Coma Scale score less than 15).
  • A neurosurgeon has sent you for a CT scan because of suspected brain injury.
  • You do not have any past or present brain or eye nerve diseases.
  • You are not pregnant.
  • You do not have severe eye socket trauma, a penetrating eye injury, or other eye conditions like glaucoma or optic nerve swelling.
