Who can take part

  • You are a male between 14 and 17 years old and have a height of at least 4 feet 9 inches (145 cm).
  • You have a condition called hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (your body doesn't produce enough hormones that tell your testicles to make testosterone).
  • Your testicles are smaller than normal and your testosterone level is very low (≤ 1 ng/mL).
  • You have not used certain hormone treatments (like GnRH, gonadotropins, or oral testosterone) in the past month, or testosterone shots in the past year.
  • You and your partner agree to use reliable birth control during the study and for 3 months after.
