Testosterone replacement study for adolescent boys with low testosterone

Who can take part

  • You must be a boy between 12 and 18 years old.
  • You must have a diagnosis of low testosterone caused by a known medical problem.
  • If you've used testosterone before, the dose must have been steady for at least 12 weeks. If you've never used it, that's okay.
  • Your parent or legal guardian must agree to the study, and you must be willing to participate.
  • You must weigh at least 30 kilograms (about 66 pounds) and have a body mass index above the 5th percentile for your age.
  • If you are sexually active with a female partner, you must agree to use effective birth control.
