Who can take part
- You have not taken GLP-1 medications like Ozempic or Wegovy, or if you have, your last dose was at least 6 months ago.
- You are in good general health with no serious medical conditions.
- Depending on the group: you have a body mass index (BMI) between 19 and 30 for healthy or diabetes groups, or BMI between 30 and 45 for the obesity group.
- If you have type 2 diabetes, your A1C blood sugar level is between 7.0% and 10.5% and you manage it with diet, exercise, or metformin only.
- You have not had serious side effects from GLP-1 medications in the past (like severe nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea).
