This study looks at whether certain substances in your urine (called neurotrophins) can help doctors better understand overactive bladder (OAB). You will give a urine sample and answer some questions to help researchers find a simple, noninvasive way to confirm OAB.

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have symptoms of overactive bladder (like sudden urges to urinate or needing to go often).
  • You are seeing a urology doctor for these symptoms.
  • You do not have other known bladder problems, like an infection or blockage.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
