Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are having general anesthesia with a breathing tube placed through your mouth.
  • You do not need a rapid-sequence intubation (a special fast-acting procedure typically used in emergencies).
  • Your overall health is rated as ASA 1, 2, or 3 (a standard rating your doctor can check).
  • You are not allergic to the drugs rocuronium or remifentanil.
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or unable to understand Danish.
