Who can take part
- Your child must be between 1 and 18 years old (pediatric).
- Your child has ITP (immune thrombocytopenia) that has lasted more than 3 months (persistent) or more than 12 months (chronic).
- Your child's ITP did not get better with steroid treatment (like prednisone).
- Your child is currently taking a thrombopoietin receptor agonist (TPO-RA), such as eltrombopag or romiplostim.
- Your child must not have any other cause for low platelets, such as another blood disorder or infection.
- Your child must not have another chronic disease (like diabetes or kidney disease) or acute (sudden) ITP.
