Who can take part

  • You have pain in your buttock, hip, or thigh that gets worse when you sit for a long time or twist your body.
  • At least 3 out of 5 special tests done by a doctor cause your pain.
  • You can point to the exact spot of pain near the back of your hip bone.
  • You have not had surgery or a major injury to your spine, pelvis, hip, leg, chest, or belly in the last year.
  • You do not have leg pain when lifting your leg, tumors, fractures, ankylosing spondylitis, or you are not taking anti-inflammatory drugs, hormones, or steroid shots.
