Who can take part

  • You have had low back pain for 3 months or more
  • Your pain level is at least a 4 out of 10 on a standard pain scale
  • At least 3 tests suggest your pain comes from the sacroiliac joint
  • You had at least 50% pain relief after a test injection into that joint
  • You have not had a sacroiliac joint injection in the last 6 months
  • You do not have other spine or hip problems causing your pain, active infections, or conditions that prevent shockwave therapy
