New pill to prevent flu after exposure

This study tests a new antiviral pill, GP681, to prevent the flu in people who live with someone who has the flu. If you haven't gotten sick yet and are otherwise healthy, this might help keep you from catching it.

Who can take part

  • You live with someone who has the flu, and they were diagnosed in the last 48 hours with a fever.
  • You currently have no flu symptoms and test negative for the flu.
  • You are 12 years or older.
  • You have not received a flu vaccine in the last 6 months.
  • You do not have serious health conditions or take medications that affect your immune system.
