- You survived until you were discharged from the hospital after surgery.
- You had at least one echocardiogram (heart ultrasound) before surgery that gave complete information about your aortic root.
- You do not have any reason why a CT scan would be unsafe, such as an allergy to contrast dye, pregnancy, or kidney disease.
