Who can take part

  • You are 18 to 90 years old
  • Your doctor suspects moderate or severe valve disease, such as MR (leaking), AR (aortic regurgitation), or AS (aortic stenosis)
  • If you have a CRT device, you may be considered a “non-responder,” and your CRT device must be MRI-compatible
  • You are able to safely have a heart MRI (CMR) without medical reasons it’s unsafe for you
  • You do not have serious claustrophobia (a strong fear of enclosed spaces) that would stop you from completing the MRI
