Who can take part
- You are 18 to 90 years old
- Your doctor suspects moderate or severe valve disease, such as MR (leaking), AR (aortic regurgitation), or AS (aortic stenosis)
- If you have a CRT device, you may be considered a “non-responder,” and your CRT device must be MRI-compatible
- You are able to safely have a heart MRI (CMR) without medical reasons it’s unsafe for you
- You do not have serious claustrophobia (a strong fear of enclosed spaces) that would stop you from completing the MRI
