Who can take part

  • You are a postpartum person (mother or birthing person) aged 18 years or older
  • You delivered your baby at 20 or more weeks of pregnancy
  • You are at risk for high blood pressure after delivery (doctor has placed you in a higher-risk group)
  • You plan to have your postpartum care at UC San Diego Health (UCSD)
  • You have not already started taking blood pressure medication before leaving the hospital after delivery
