Who can take part

  • English must be your child's first or main language
  • No history of brain or nerve problems
  • Normal or corrected vision (glasses or contacts are okay)
  • Not taking any medications that could affect thinking or speech
  • No intellectual disability, autism, or ADHD (for controls)
  • Pass a hearing test
  • Age-appropriate speech and language skills (for controls) or stuttering/speech concerns (for those who stutter)
