Who can take part

  • Your child is between 1 day and 6 years old.
  • Your child is in good general health (ASA I or II).
  • Your child needs general anesthesia with sevoflurane.
  • You (the parent or guardian) agree to participate and sign a consent form.
  • No serious heart, brain, liver, kidney, or metabolic conditions.
  • No birth defects or genetic issues affecting the brain.
  • Your child was not born very early (before 32 weeks).
  • No recent cold or upper respiratory infection in the last two weeks.
