Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You can read and understand Danish
  • You have a gastric electrical stimulator implanted for treating gastroparesis
  • You rate your symptom improvement as either 0 or 1 (not much help) or 3 or 4 (a lot of help) on a scale of 0 to 4
  • You are willing and able to attend the scheduled study visits and follow the procedures
  • You have not had surgery on the vagus nerve, or certain other surgeries that could affect the results
  • You do not have a history of problems like POTS, fainting spells, or low blood pressure when standing
  • You do not have an implanted heart device (like a pacemaker) or a vagal nerve stimulator
