Who can take part
- You have had gastroparesis for at least 12 months.
- You have type 1 or type 2 diabetes.
- A stomach-emptying test within the last 2 years shows food stays in your stomach too long.
- Your most recent A1C test (within 3 months) is 8.0 or lower.
- You are willing to have about a teaspoon of blood drawn.
- You have not had stomach surgery or a vagotomy (nerve-cutting procedure) in the past.
