Who can take part

  • You are 65 years old or older.
  • You are generally healthy and free of major medical problems like cancer, diabetes, or neurological diseases.
  • You do not currently smoke and have not regularly smoked in the past 3 years.
  • You are not taking any medications that affect your heart or sweating (like beta-blockers, blood pressure meds, or allergy meds).
  • Your blood pressure and cholesterol are under control (blood pressure below 140/90 mmHg and cholesterol below 200 mg/dL).
