  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have esophageal cancer that has not spread to distant organs (stage II to IVA).
  • You have not had any previous treatment for your esophageal cancer.
  • You are in good enough health to be active (ECOG score 0 or 1).
  • Your major organs (heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, bone marrow, thyroid) are working well enough.
