Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with end-stage kidney disease and have just started hemodialysis (within the last 3 months).
  • You still produce at least 500 ml of urine each day, or your remaining kidney function (GFR) is above 3.
  • You have a working vascular access (such as a fistula or graft) that allows blood flow of at least 180 ml per minute during dialysis.
  • You do not have severe heart failure, active infection, severe anemia, or polycystic kidney disease.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you are not participating in other clinical trials.
