- Your stone is located in the middle or lower part of the ureter (the tube from your kidney to your bladder).
- Your stone is 15 millimeters or smaller (about the size of a small pea).
- You do not have a stent (a soft tube) already placed in your ureter.

- You do not have an active urinary tract infection (infection in your bladder or kidneys).
