Ultrasound stiffness test for fatty liver disease

Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You are already scheduled for an endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and a liver biopsy (within 3 months of each other).
  • You have had or will have a FibroScan test within 3 months of the EUS.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 28 or higher.
  • You have a clinical suspicion of fatty liver disease (MASLD or MASH) with or without liver scarring.
