Who can take part

  • You must have been diagnosed with MASLD (fatty liver disease that is not caused by alcohol).
  • You must be between 18 and 79 years old.
  • Your alcohol intake must be less than about 1 drink per day for women or 1.5 drinks per day for men.
  • You must have at least one condition related to metabolic syndrome (like high blood pressure, high blood sugar, or high cholesterol).
  • You cannot have other liver diseases (like hepatitis B, hepatitis C, or cirrhosis) or be taking certain medications that affect the liver.
