Who can take part

  • You must be a veteran who receives care at the Durham VA Health Care System.
  • You have had suicidal thoughts in the last 30 days, but no immediate intent to act on them.
  • You currently see a mental health provider at least once every 4 months.
  • You can read and understand material written at a 6th grade level.
  • You are not currently in a severe manic or psychotic episode.
  • You do not have a moderate or severe alcohol or drug use disorder.
  • You have not already used this specific mobile app in another study.
